I design intimate voyages by sea and beautifully crafted journeys on land, pairing boutique small ship sailing with bespoke itineraries that reflect your style. Exceptional cuisine and wine often find their place at the table, yet every trip begins with you and what you love most.

My path to travel design began with a life lived globally and a career in nursing that taught me to listen closely and care for every detail. I have called Canada, the United States, Germany, England, the French Riviera, and South Korea home, exploring far beyond each doorstep. While living at Camp Humphreys in South Korea, I curated small group journeys to China and the South Pacific while building trusted partnerships across the region.

I create fully customized experiences from close to home to once in a lifetime. Picture an exquisite luxury train journey through the Rockies, an afternoon of tasting in Napa Valley, the glow of an overwater bungalow in French Polynesia, an expedition cruise to the seventh continent, and the thrill of watching blue footed boobies in the Galápagos.

David works behind the scenes to shape Val’s Travel’s voice and visibility. He leads digital strategy, branding, and social media, pairing meticulous operations with compelling storytelling so every client touchpoint feels polished and effortless. After twenty-three years as an Army Aviation officer and over a decade in industrial leadership, he brings mission level discipline, clear communication, and a calm, systems driven approach to the brand.

With a degree in history and a master’s in education, David is drawn to places rich in culture and tradition. A lifelong traveler, he channels that curiosity into thoughtful content, community engagement, and partnerships that elevate the client experience from first click to welcome home.
